Tanglewood is in the heart of the international tourist destination of Oceanside, in Parksville on Vancouver Island BC. We are right on Rathtrevor Beach, renowned for it's magnificent beauty and miles of soft sand and safe, warm salt water swimming. Couple that with being nestled beside the enchanting old growth forest of Rathtrevor Provincial Park, with it's miles of hiking, biking and walking trails meandering alongside the ocean and through the forest, and you have a winning combination for a fantastic vacation!!
Within an approximate two hour scenic drive in either direction, visit the charming capital city of Victoria to the south, stopping in Nanaimo, "The Harbour City", Chemainus, famous for it's murals and Duncan, the "City of Totems". Head to the wild and rugged West Coast with the world famous Long Beach and it's quaint fishing villages of Tofino and Ucluelet. Go north to the beautiful Comox Valley and smaller islands of Denman and Hornby and the mountain bike and hiking trails of Mt Washington.
We have two vacation homes to choose from:
Unit 37, with over 1200 square feet, is our 2 bedroom condo that sleeps 4 comfortably with two queen size pillow top beds.
Unit 43 at 1400 square feet is our 3 bedroom condo and sleeps 6 comfortably with one king size pillow top bed, one queen size pillow top bed and two twin beds.
Each home has 2 bright and spacious full baths. Daylight pours in through the high windows and with vaulted ceilings over the open living room and kitchen area there is plenty of room to relax. A separate dining room and a large, fully equipped kitchen with full sized appliances (dishwasher, microwave and garburator) are ready for you to explore your culinary imagination. For those times you need to just kick back and enjoy the memories of a fun filled day there are two TVs, 2 DVD players, internet access, gas fireplace, gas BBQ and a patio table with chairs.
Tanglewood will be your home away from home. With all of the conveniences one should expect in a luxury vacation home.
